MEDIATION SERVICES

I am a trained mediator who is very interested in resolving just about any kind of dispute. As a mediator I do not take sides in the dispute, I remain totally neutral. I also do not make any decisions about how the dispute should be resolved. My job is to help those who are in the dispute to find a resolution that both can live with.
Mediation can last for an hour or for weeks, depending on the complexity and the willingness of the parties to continue. Mediation is totally voluntary. At any time either party can end the mediation and go to something more traditional, like court.
Mediation is also completely confidential. Anything that is said to me in Mediation remains confidential by law. No other person, including a Judge, can ask me what was said.
Mediation is a great alternative to court or arbitration where someone wins and someone loses. It is also a lot less expensive. Lawyers need not be present although they can be. The setting is also a lot friendlier than a court room. We meet in a private neutral setting. A court is public. When differences are resolved in mediation it is always Win-Win.
If you reach agreement, I can write it down and you will both sign. Any signed agreement will be binding and enforceable.
